Raptor center grill lights on an FX4?

LEDs can have hotspots too. my cluster is a great example of it. improper optics. IIRC the ones on the Raptor have a wide 50*+ viewing angle. on the ones pictured above, some seem brighter than others, either meaning they arent aligned, have weird optics, or just suck.
Take is as you want. If you're happy with $20, congratulations. I'd rather pay more and get the quality stuff, the difference shows.

The difference in light output is how they're mounted and the angle.
Here's some real Raptor lights for reference
Looks like more glare than this guy...

That's not entirely "glare". The Raptor has a much wider beam spread (hence why all of them have the same candlepower) and looks more uniform- no matter what angle you view it from. Those aftermarket ones look like tiny dots- they probably have a very narrow beam spread, and even with that they wouldn't have the candlepower the Raptor lights use. Are you saying the Raptors lights are sub-par to the aftermarket ones pictured above?

This. The F-150 Raptor is wider than a H1 and just 1.1" narrower than the outboard duallies on F-350s+. The marker lights are there for a reason. And because they are federally mandated, they have to have so much candlepower. That's why Ford uses PLCC2-E3s and not these $20 VatoZone specials everyone is buying up.
