Tinted Tail Lights on Black 04' Lariat??

Hey I am a brand new truck owner (just turned 16) and i got a 2004 Black Lariat. I am thinking about tinting my tail lights i just dont know whether or not it will look good with the beige streak running across the bottom. I have seen one picture of a black lariat with tinted tail lights and it didnt look too good. However the picture was blurry and taken from a distance. I pretty much just want some other peoples opinions on what they think about doing it and maybe some pictures of trucks that have done what i am talking about. Any opinions or pics will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your input! I do like the stock look a lot and anything i do end up doing to this truck will be stuff that wont alter the look too much. i was thinking or maybe tinting the red and leaving the clear strip in the middle as is.

And i live in Norman

I just put some smoked ones on the truck on friday. I'll get some pics tomorrow and post em. I have a black 08 lariat. Another suggestion is to check into the harley headlights. I love em on mine but I don't have the tan around the bottom.

Here's some pics, don't mind the truck being filthy, it's been raining every 2 or 3 days around here so no time to wash it and keep it clean for more than 10 minutes.

Just what you need at 16, another reason to be pulled over.

Call me crazy, but I'm just not into decreasing the performace of the lighting system of my truck or calling law enforcement attention to it.

ive had mine for over a year but i also added LEDs around the borber of the light and they are attached to brakes and turn signals. i did it because tinting tails is illegal in PA and i made them darker than i wanted. they have lightened up a bit but are still visible. been pulled over twice in the last 1.5 years and never got any comments about teh tails....just the 10mph over and the 24mph over i was doing. got lowered to 4 over and 10 over...waste of about $220 combined. first one was because i just got my tuner and i hadnt gotten the speedo correct yet. 2nd was 100% my foots fault lol

The most you are going to get here in Michigan is a faulty equipment ticket out of that. I did take them off if it was extremely foggy and that truck never saw winter either so that was not an issure

I got them from tasca and they were around $65 for all 3. I think the way the pin holes are in the fender that you would have to order the ones for the fender then trim off the lariat, xlt, etc. part to make them sit right on there.

They are led so they are still pretty bright.
