YES..I'v gone thru 2 recon light bars...i'm done.To be fair the second was a recon style but both suffered the same fate...cracking from a little stone between the light tube and the tailgate.And when the tail gate was put down the tube cracked allowing moisture in..eventually the lights starting flickering and shorting out.I put the recon bar in the BED..twisted ALL the wires togeter and put it on a switch...it lights up the bed real nice.As far as a light bar..This christmas the wife bought me another..AND..it has a lifetime quarentee so it will be my last.Its made by Putco 90009-60 - Putco LED Tailgate .. and has all the funtions including the back up lights.Its FLAT and epoxy filled.At the SEMA show they had one in a fish tank for the whole show lit up to show its waterproof.but it doesn't even matter if it a lifetime quarentee.I'm having it installed since its winter in cleveland..140.00 installed and Finish Line said if it ever goes bad just stop in and THEY will take it off and replace it.They said because of stones and crap falling out of the bed cracking light bars that this is the only one they carry and have never had one come back.So we'll see.....

 

hows the putco lightbar holding up do you like it any complaints about brightness or anything
