Talk with thejake1989. He can tell you what you need to get this done.

If anything just cut the lead and ground wire going to the reverse light socket and splice in an extra foot or so of wiring. Its not that hard and much cheaper/easier/faster than buying any sort of extension

Then of course you need the lights themselves.

The reverse bulb requires a different bulb base though. You have to either buy the socket from Ford ($$$) or find a wrecked 08+ SD and cut the pigtails off.

Is it the 921s? When I did the 03 to 07 Expy taillight conversion, I just tapped off the 3156 (keeping it off to the side) and used a 194 base with wires.

They are very easy to swap, you just need to bend down or cut out a piece inside the bed, and then swap the reverse light pigtails. I love my SD tails.

Yes, this was a easy mod to do. Bought 2 new bulb bases from LMC truck, added some more wire and used Dremel a bit.

Yeah but they are made in the same factory using the same processes. "You get what you pay for" describes comparing two different manufacturers.

Care to post a pic of the LEDs? Unless you know what you're shopping for, you may get good or bad results.
