3157A LED performs worse ...

What's up,
I've received the LED below and to my surprise, the LED showed a visible difference in it's brightness once installed. In addition, when I had the emergency signal lights turned on, the inside dash indicators (left/right signal) were solid turned on and the signal lights were not on. I had to turn the car off and try it again... The it worked.

Now, are these bad LED's? why are they from lower brightness than the stock 3157A. I'm pretty much disappointed and will send them back.... I read that the 3157A from puto are good but to be honest,.. After these LED's I'm not so sure if I should go LED at all now..

Ordered: 1 Shipped: 1 008000249 2 Amber 10+3W LED Turn Signal Light Bulbs 4157 3157A
Ordered: 1 Shipped: 1 006000077 006000077 LED $0.00

Do you Putco? Those are complete crap. Do you have a picture of the LEDs? If they are not radial firing, they are not striking the reflectors at all, thus giving you zilch light output. Secondly, LEDs in a incandescent housing will suck anyways

Below is the link to the amber LED Bulbs. I purchased them directly at the store, not the ebaystore...

Wow those actually look pretty nice. Put a DMM on your light socket and see what the voltage is.

What MY is your truck? Do you have the LED relay for your turn signals or load resistors?

I haven't put in a LED relay for your turn signals or load resistors because once installed and turned on there were no issues with it, when it comes to fast blinking. My interior dash board turn ligh indicators frooze but i don't think that a LED relay for your turn signals or load resistors would fixed that.

My truck is a FX2, 2008 ...

I'm wanting to send these LED's back but if a "LED relay for your turn signals or load resistors" would fixed this... I'll keep them.

The LED Description says "Extreme high-brightness Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), Super-Flux (SF) emitters, Surface-Mount Devices/Technology (SMD/SMT) and advanced Integrated-Circuit (IC) controlled High Power lambertian-lens Light Engine LED devices."

I will give it a shot. Advanced auto part has the LED Flasher for $15. I assume the flasher relay is located in the front/ driver side, correct?

I actually have similar LEDs as the OP. I have LED tail light assemblies and I am getting the fast blinking/flashing like it thinks one of my lights are out. Is there any way to correct this or put a resistor in so it "thinks" something isn't burn out?

I'll sub to this thread too =).

I installed the EP27 flasher. It's strange,... Cause if I turn the turn lights on now (with the LED's) installed then with every flash the instrument dash board dims for a split second. I assume that these LED bulbs are "wack". What u think?

The turn lights by themselves works and the stops, the I pull them out of the socket and put them back in and they work for a longer time.

The flasher wont fix the solid signals on the instrument cluster, I tried the tridon e27 flasher and it didnt make it go away I had to put 1 6ohm resistor on each harness.

Since I put the flasher on it, I don't have these freezing dashboard indicators anymore.... I'll check the output voltage on each side today...

v-leds are the only leds i buy and they all work perfect. as with anything, you get what you pay for. i think your bulbs are just not working correctly and giving you these problems.
