They will likely be close, but still wont match perfectly. I put VLEDs 5k 2w LEDs in my parking lamps/clear reflectors and it matches my 5000k HIDs identically in color. You use 4300k right?

Yes. But my bulbs have about ~100 hours on them. They have colorshifted to about ~4600K. By 500 hours they will peak out at 5100K before they start their death cycle.

Oh you didn't get the 85122+ from phillips? The only way I'd do 4300k would be for those OEM phillips. They don't colorshift. So you just have the Mori 4300s?

Yes. My 50W ballasts would make quick work of the 35W 85122s. So I got the 55W Mori 4300Ks. My next bulbs will be DL50s - the only OEM 50W bulb.

DL50s are nice except for the 3900k color. I don't like the yellow, although output should be pretty nice.

BTW I'm pretty sure the 85122s are okay to use with 50w ballasts.

Hm. I'm not really looking ATM, my bulbs are relatively fresh. Osram just released a new line of D2S so I might end up with those.

Still nothing in the mail. Kinda getting irratated

Finally called them today. I think someone forgot to actually send them off. But an hour after I got off the phone I received a tracking number for my OVERNIGHTED switchbacks.

Awesome.

Normally I would be really mad, but I'm a patient guy.

Crap, I just thought of something: I would have liked to switch to the type 2 (alternating orange/white). I should've brought that up. Oh well.

Type 1 is the alternating white/amber when the turn signal is on. Glad to hear you're finally getting them. I have the type 2, amber flashing and white running light.
