What lights to mount behid grill

I am looking to mount some lights behind the grille on my 2001 expedition and was wondering what your experiences are with different types. I looking for some thing that round and very bright. I will be using these mostly on late night trips driving this summer to the coast in the middle of no where. Trying to see deer an other obstacles better. My budget is around 200-250. I have looked at KC and some hella's and others but what is the brightest and the best in you guys opinion.

Thanks.

Hella 500s seem pretty popular around here

I have mounted the Hella 500's in the grill and they are pretty handy. I think i counted 18 fasterners holding the grill shell in place but once that's off it's fairly easy to mount them. I just drilled holes in the fiberglass brace going across and wired them to the stock fog light boot. I have two other six's in there too so it is possible to fit 4 6's back there if you want some real thump. Just make sure you mount them far enough back or you will have to grind down the grill so they don't rub.

I highly suggest running a seperate switch/relay system. Running 260W on stock 110W 18AWG wiring is a BAD idea
