Well its good to see a few albertans here. I'm a safety officer for a steel erection company. I keep trying to let local authourities allow individuals who are within the company that are safety officers responding to an accident that is serious run emergency lights. Ive even stated that ill take the defensive driving courses that police officers go through so that im not going to create a hazard. but ya to the lights part. Im in the process of putting on KC rally 800 'driving' lights. Got the bracket all made up just need to order the lights lol the important part.

what do the police in your area run? down here blue is strictly for police and red is for fire.

police up hear run red and blue lights vfd members run blue and fire chiefs run red lights and sirens. in some rural areas up hear i have hurd of chiefs letting there members have blue lights and sirens because of the distance they have to travel from there home to the fire house or the call it self.

I was actually doing better than a lot of 4x4s last night and this morning in the ice and snow, but it is all about how you drive rather than what you drive.

Florida only allows two red lights per vehicle, and with the station managers approval (which he does not). Doesn't say anything about clear lights, however- which is why I'm ordering a 6-head 90W strobe system here pretty soon. Not for running to calls but since I'm in my truck most of the time, stopping at a call while POV I'd rather not get hit.
