Custom Retrofit

Hey guys! My buddy does custom retrofit headlights for damn near any car made. He runs cobaltSS forum and people from all over the world send him their headlights or buy a second set to have fit and he send back to them. Here is what he did to my 2009 STX 4x4.

Projector Retrofit w/ 5K hid set, led side-markers and turn signals and LED halo around the projector and a blacked out shroud. Man you can see the world with the new lights! So stoked! Check it: http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...35017659_o.jpg

Just check out some of the stuff he's done!

If you are interested in getting lights done, have questions about lights or anything, hit him up and tell him Matt w/ the black F150 sent you. He'll know!

Full LED light changeover coming soon! Adding LED tailgate bar in the back and adding some lights inside as well! Hope you like!

How well do those white LED light bars light up the road?

My dad has them on his Raptor - it will blow your mind. It is ridiculous.

Ya its pretty bright. Not quite as bright as my 4 8" 55w Hid off-road lights were. But I didn't expect it to be. But the one thing that's really good is no warm up time like the HIDs had.

not a Rigid but i recently bought a 20" double row LED bar from a new company in my town. Called Plashlights, the iphone 5 camera does it no justice. it is much brighter in person.

Cool

I started by adding Silverstar Ultras. In the next few weeks I will be upgrading to the new HID units. Then I installed PIAA HB, Ion bulbs into the factory fog light housings. I prefer my fogs in amber and they do illuminate a little better. Then I re-aimed both the headlights and fogs to my preferance. Next I installed a set of the PIAA 2100i ion Long Range foul weather driving lights into the lower grill opening. I've had these on several vehicles and have been pleased. They project a 20 degree driving beam in amber. I use them with the high beams, or when visability is really bad I use them to fill in with the factory fogs. Lastly, after I had the brushguard installed, I bought a set of PIAA RS600 HID shock lamps. These are self contained, and unreal. The only draw back is the warm-up time. Now I'm looking to install a Rigid 20" combo light bar in the lower grill. I'll either add them above the fogs, or remove them altogather and place the light bar there. Time will tell......

LED Logo Courtesy Lights

Last weekend I installed 2 sets of LED logo courtesy lights in my doors.

Here's a video link of the doors opening:

The weekend before that I finished my exterior LED conversion, including puddle lamps and switchback 3157 and 194 bulbs in front. Don't have a good pic of that yet.

And the weekend before that I did the interior swap, including vanity lights. Didn't do the dash or switches though, they're fine the way they are.
