Got the idea from the raptor to put some LED's on the grill. To much "Wanna Be?". Opinions? I think I like them, only were a couple bucks at the store, thought I'd try it.

The cab lights? That was one of the first things I've had on the truck. Get a lot of complements for um. I was just asking if the new grille lights were too much since I already had the cab lights, can't really take those off haha.

Here are just a couple that I've done to my truck.

All my new toys laid out and ready to go in.

I ran the cable for the mini bar up the B pillar to a grommet at the and out a 6 pin molex connector on it so I could remove the light bar when not in use. I also ran the cables for the Whelen light bar and Hide Away strobes down the door sills to the front and back of the truck.

Nice install

Not bad dsq, looks like you took the time to install everything right. Can't tell you how many emergency vehicles, much less POVs, I see with lights, sirens and switches thrown anywhere and wire just crapped together. Since I started at the agency I work (1990) for I've been correcting 'bubba-ed' up garbage. And we've had to correct absolute crap work from major fire apparatus manufacturers that never should have left the factory/been accepted by us, but it took us years to find the problem...

Seen several of the setups go up in smoke, short out or just quit working leaving the operator in a bind when he needs the 'disco lights' or the 'party horns.'

If I didn't have a darn flow-through console I'd have a place to mount my Code 3 siren/light control and a radio.

Thank's Bill, I hate doing things twice so I figure you might as well do it nice and neat the first time so if there's a problem it's easy to track down and fix. I have seen guys go to a single DIN radio and put the switch panel or CB under the radio and then pull the flip down tray out and put a CB or switch panel there as well.

I'd like to see that little yellow roof light in action.
