V-led coupon code thread

I've been posting the coupons for V-leds whenever I get an email from them in the other led threads. Well, since those threads have become so large, I'm starting a thread just for the coupon codes.

Here's the new one: NYRES11 for 15% off until 1/15/11
For those of you who don't know what V-leds is: http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/f.../user/velocity

darkshadow, do you have LED's in your headlights? I have some in my reverse lights and I can't see them being bright enough for night time driving. If you do, are they as bright or brighter than SilverSatr Ultras?

^^ Leds in my heads? Of couse I do, it's called led backlighting. I also have these for the front turn signals: http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/Turn-Signal-LED/White-LED/TYPE-2-DUAL-COLOR-CHANGING-p7114832.html As far as the reverse lights, get a set of $19 Walmart driving lights and mount them to your trailer hitch, if you have one.

his actual bulb is hid bud, leds are not meant for head and/or fog light bulbs for visibility. leds are mosty a nice clean look and/or have different colored bulbs.

^^ The day I installed them I had hyperflashing since that was my first set of replacement leds. I bought a new flasher that works with leds and that corrected the flashing. You could also use resistors. Flasher: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...ci_sku=5060001

Duskrider already posted it:

1K1GSP It appears this code is for 10% off, not 15% like previous codes

Any idea on how that will effect my Hella tails? They already have the built in resistor.

It should work fine with it because it works if you have front turn leds, rear turn leds or both. Since your truck sees the Hellas as normal because of the built in resistors, the only ones the flasher would have to fix would be the fronts if you got switchbacks. The flasher works great but some people complain about the flasher clicking loudly. I don't have that problem so I must have the super special flasher out of all of them that doesn't click loudly, I don't know. lol
