A/C not working I need help please

My A/C stop working. One of the Hose & tube assembly on High side leaked so I replace that. Did Vacuum for 45min. and wait 30 min. good Vacuum holding below -30.
Start the car turn on AC fan set at low but the clutch not engaging so I put jump power to clutch and it kick in but I have no pressure on High side and low side go up more then 100PSI. Low side not shut in Freon.
Can you tell me what wrong from here.
IS that may be the Expansion valve Bad?
Or Compressor Bad?

Ooh: This is Chevy Sonic 2013 1.4L turbo
Thank you

Are you saying that it wouldn't take any refrigerant?

Most vehicles these days have an orifice instead of an expansion valve.

I would double check the can tap and the hose valves to make sure the path from the can to the system is open. I've had this problem before. Do you have a gauge set hooked up with both low side and high side gauges?

I do have gauge set and both hooked up to High and low side.
-Yes the past of can tap of freon clear away to low side port.
-when I hookup high and low side port did see the gauge needle are moving that tell me the valve is open.

I sit the can of refrigerant in a pot of hot water to help evaporate it. It takes a long time for it to evaporate without adding some heat.

I found the problem, the Quick Connector Coupler Adapter on Low size is bad, get new one and all working good now.
