heat & a/c problem

If its not one thing its another (just had a coil go out)

I have been reading similar threads all day, but have a few questions.

I have 06 lariat with the digital a/c controls. The auto feature, manual fan and vent controls work fine. But it will not switch heat or cold. Almost like just venting in cool air from outside. The hoses going into the heater core are both hot and operating temperatures are normal.

So I am assuming its a blend door issue. But the part stores have three blend doors.
one is
UPC: 31508569669
Vacuum Control Valve
Temperature Blend Door

and
UPC: 31508569836
Heater Blend Door Lever
6 Pin Connector
Defrost, Panel And Floor Door
Pin Number: 5 Is Not Used (No Connection)

and
Recirculation Door Actuator
Air Inlet Mode Door
MOTOR ASY

I'm not sure which one it could be. If I have time this weekend Ill see if I can locate the three actuators and test each one to see if it is functioning. This forum is always a life savor so I thought I'd ask which it could be if any.

Just ran it (wouldn't have known to without your suggestion, so thanks for that).

I got codes 22, 57, 29, and 66.

Google informed me that 22 is a blend door short. Not sure if that means it needs to be replaced or if its in the wiring. and I'm not sure what the others are.

Thanks for that. It'll probably be this weekend before I have time to test all this but this information is extremely helpful.

Just an update, I haven't had time to do the full test yet. But I did get a chance swap out the control unit with a buddy's that does work. It still gave the same symptoms and codes. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to to the full test on the temperature actuator and replace what ever parts are busted.

Got the blend door actuator replaced this morning and everything is working as it should now. Glad my hands are not any bigger or I would have had to take the dash off to get to it. Thanks for all the help with this problem
