Hello on my 07 king ranch on the hot summers in TX my a/c was not blowing what was supposed to, I have a 08 f150 the least expensive work truck that ford has, even this truck was making me to turn of the a/c because it was so cold, I went to the stealer they said that everything was ok...

another thing is that when I have the a/c on and I am ex.. at a stop light, I can feel a vibration coming from my engine to my gas pedal.. turn off the a/c and everything is fine..

What years does it apply?

The TSB should be available for 07, 08 F-Series, maybe earlier too. Describe the symptoms to the service writer, it should point them to the TSB. Maybe someone can post the actual TSB number if they get one. Dealers don't usually just "do" TSBs, the vehicle has to have the appropriate symptom first.

Paralyzer seems to have the logical/technical view of it. I was always wondering why it did that when I slammed on the gas.

A/C blows hot

Took mine to dealer. Was blowing hot constantly. Disconnected the battery, and the A/C worked great for five minutes.

Dealer replaced door actuator and realinged the diverter door in the mix box.

Problem solved, under 36/36 warranty

Andy

I had TSB 08-23-6 performed today. This TSB replaces the 9L3Z-19E616-E Actuator - Motor As. which is now on national backorder with 4,900 units expected to be delivered sometime later this month. I have a copy of the TSB but due to my posting restrictions I can not post attachments. If someone will PM me their email address perhaps they can post it for me.

Can you give some details on the TSB 08-23-6 or could someone post it. I was at the dealer on Tuesday and they still had no word on replacement part.

Thanks
Ed

My dealer keeps telling me that Ford still hasn't come out with a solution yet for the blend door problem. Am I just stuck until they have a solution, or can I force some sort of resolution?

What's the benefit of having a copy of the TSB? Doesn't the dealer have all the information already, or are you trying to fix it yourself?
