Question can u help me with my heat?

I have a1998 ford f150 and the air conditioning is stuck on. From all the info I have gathered I am thinking that the heater control valve is stuck. Can anyone tell me where it is located and how to get to it? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

There is no heater control valve.

Air conditioning is supposed to run in all positions except VENT, FLOOR, and OFF.

Give your exact symptoms, we are not psychic.

There is no warm air in any position no matter where you turn the selector **** or the temperature control. It just blows frigid air. Those are the only symptoms. Thanks for the info on the heater control valve.

See my post here...

It has instructions and pictures for disassembling the dash on a 2002 F150 to get to the heater core and should be really close to the steps that you'll need to perform to get to your problem area. You'd be surprised at how little it costs to get parts and how much you can save if you tackle the job yourself.

Fan motor works the rest doesn't

I have a 98 f150 4x4/ v6. The temp guage says it's a little under half way heated up. The heat blows for a second the nothing. Same with the ac. Blows cold for a second the nothing. Any ideas? I just bought the truck. So I don't know much about the maintenance of it. It came with a clean carfax. Thanks for any help you might give
