Exclamation Problem

well my a/c started acting up today on the way home from school. i turned on the a/c and it was cold and running fine for a few seconds, them all the sudden it started blowing hot air, felt like the heater came on. i turned it off and turned it back on and it did the same thing again. i dont know whats wrong with it. i had the compressor/clutch replaced a little less than a year ago. what could be the problem?

First I would check or have the system checked for proper fridge level with gages.
