Looking to install a double din in my 03 FX4. The new 2014 model Pioneer units (AVH-X4600BT & AVH-X5600BHS) are 7". I've seen a thread were the Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD 7" was successfully installed in a 97-03, just wondering if there would be any issues with the new units before I order?

A buddy tried to install a new head unit in my 2008 F150, it wouldn't fit so he put back my stick unit, when he plugged it back in it read theft across the screen and shut off. Now the radio will not work or turn on. How do I fix this?
