I can't decide what to get, the AVH-P3200BT or AVH-P3100DVD. I want bluetooth, and navigation can come later. Would I still have to modify my dash to get the HU to fit properly? I can get the 3200BT for $380 and the P3100DVD for $308.

Not looking to spend much, but, something I can still enjoy, just in case I go on a trip my wife or friends can watch something and I can still be safe on the road with bluetooth hands free.

Yeah I know, I figured might as well spend the same amount and have it built in. I also have an issue, my aftermarket deck, we had to clip the harness off and attach the wires by using the electrical tubes and wrapped them in electrical tape. Would that be an issue with this new deck that I'm about to buy?

71-1771 will wire up to the wires you cut, giving you a stock plug, just like it had from the factory.
The other one, 70-1771, wires to the wiring harness that came with your head unit and will plug straight into the 71-1771.
I believe he is using Metra part numbers, which you can find at your local Best Buy.
