I say that about ebay because i dont see the point of buying used stereo equipment. If your buying new in box from an authorized dealer of the product your buying, then sure, go for it. By why take the risk of buying something used or without a warranty? Sure, you may save $300 now, but what happens in a month when it brakes and you have to spend another $600 that you coulda/shoulda spent originally?

Liljoe, that sounds like a smokin deal to me.

I agree with you SD on the used eBay electronics. Unless it's a super good deal on proven equipment it's a waste.

i agree with the e-bay buying above..also buy what you really want the first time, it is cheaper in the long run.. i have re-bought all my stuff to many times..i should of just bought the good stuff the first time and saved money.. like.. 10 inch alpine sub.. then a 15 inch alpine sub...and now i have what i should of bought the first time, a SSA 15" Xcon... now i have a 15" alpine type r sitting in my bed room that there is nothing wrong with.. now when i want something i go to forums for what i want and do alot of reading.. then you find what is good and what is over priced.. which is better and why.. and who has the best price and customer service..

haha lmao...

dont bother with a AC powered amp. Just get a Power Supply that converts AC to DC and gives you terminals like a battery. Then its just positive and negative to your amp. Thats how all our displays are powered.

My vote is for a Eclipse AVN 726. You should be able to pick one up for 700 on ebay not including using Bing Cash Back for more savings.

Not sure where my vote goes but really investigate your options if you're like me, bitchy about the little things lol. I have an Alpine IVA-W205 and it's pretty nice so far. My favorite things about it are navigating an MP3 disc and an Ipod are easy, allow me to choose through lots of artists and songs quickly. Also, I love that it has a high pass filter separate for the front and the rear speakers. My girlfriend bought it for me almost 2 years ago for like $700, I'm certain cheaper now if you can find it but if I had the money for one, I'd go Pioneer. I've always been a fan of Pioneer headunits.
