i just bought a kenwood ddx512 double din head unit, and i bought this adapter to plug into the factory harness https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7628.html

this took care of the small, and the big harness that plugged into the back of the factory head unit, but what about the medium sized one?

the reason i'm asking this is because everything works correctly, and sounds awesome, but it doesn't feel like the factory sub is getting any kind of power.
all the remote turn on wires are connected and i checked and double checked that all the wires (except that medium sized plug from the factory harness) were connected correctly.

if anybody has had this issue before or has some kind of input i'd appreciate it, this one's got me stumped.. Thanks

 

also, i'm getting the subwoofer pop when i turn on the key, so i know it's getting actual power, but it just doesn't work when there is music playing. the head unit has an option for subwoofer adjustment, but it's disable because the headunit doesn't even detect a subwoofer
