differance between 95-5807 or 95-5812

i installed my f-700 with the 95-5812 but the top of the unit is sunken in and the bottom is flush. i put t he dam thing together per the instructions and even added the spacers but they onlu go so far. one thing i noticed is the kit was thinner at the top than the bottom. so wtf did i do wrong or did i get the wrong kit? my truck is an 08 lariat. one more thing, the fatory radio was a little **** eyed and when i installed the dd kit, it was also **** eyed. i am assuming this is a factory defect. anyone else have that problem?

You obviously have the wood grain, its a bit thinner and is a bit more of a PITA. Longer screws and more spacing helps. Also, Ive found that if you only put the spacers at the top, it will help as well.
