While I have the stock factory nav, I replaced the factory screws with security hex screws. Unless they have the right size bit that is designed with the security tip its not coming out.

Might be worth looking into

I'm sorry to see that RR. Believe it or not that just happened on base to a SSgt. at the barracks parking lot in his 04 2500 Duramax. I really hate it when people take things they can't afford. No honor, integrity, or respect. If you are going to sell that 'bad-luck truck' let me know! I am snooping around for a PSD around xmas...there's a boat in the future that wifey's padre is 'selling' lol. Hope things turn out well!

Sorry to hear that Jason.

where were you parked? I didnt know keller was that rough of an area....

If you want we can arrange to have the whole truck stolen and stripped. Then settle with insurance so you dont get raped on trade in

But seriously remember that most dealers aren't taking trucks much less deisel trucks as trade in

I can't tell from the pictures, but have you considered getting a tint on the two front windows? It would probably make the goodies a little harder to see, at least from a thief's point of view.

Looking at alarms right now. Thinking a Alpine W505 in in my future with a Clifford Alarm.

I wont lie, one of the biggest deterrents is that little Blue LED that blinks on and off every second... Just make sure its mounted in a VERY VISIBLE SPOT!!! Because once they start, its over. But at least the guy was nice and didnt trash your dash...

I have a clifford alarm... I love it. I have my sensor turned down to where you have to hit the truck pretty hard to get it to go off, but the minute someone even thinks about trying to open the door it goes off. Well worth the money. A "Alarm by Glock" sticker is what you need!

Wife told me this truck was bad luck and to trade it for a newer one. an 08 F250...sweet deals on them now and I know I will get slightly killed on my trade but I don't owe that much on it.

or take out all amps, subs and just go back to stock all the way

or trade for an 08 and leave the radio all stock in the new rig....

or Stock head unit and keep subs and amps in current truck

or put the new 505 in, keep the truck and put in a nice alarm system?

or but new truck, put 505 in, amps and put in nice alarm?

I like the last option. I'm with your with on this one. I would be thinking the truck is bad luck also.

I would go back to factory HU, but keep the subs and amps. If those are hidden, they normally wont mess with that. The majority of smash and grabs are for HU. They can get more for them, easier to take and get away. It takes a lot less time to rip out a HU unit then trying to take amps and subs.

A new truck is always nice too. Could you transfer the subs?

1. Double Limo tint all the way around.
2. Music goes off when you roll up to a crowded area.
3. Single-Din fold down monitor.
4. Good alarm system.

2 years and counting for me.. No break ins..

*Crosses fingers.

I really appreciate the comments guys.

Lots to think about. After speaking with Ford yesterday at the lot, (My buddy) it was looking as if they wouldn't make it economically feasible for me to trade. I was hoping that I would get all the rebates plus the 0% but no no no....its one or the other. Its not that good of a deal when you run the numbers that way. The Chevy dealership said the price was on the sticker and they didn't move off that. Kind of surprised seeing how bad Chevy is hurting right now. No wonder.
