Audophile/6 disc ?

My new 05 F150 Supercrew is according to the window sticker has 6 disc changer with MP3 and audiophile. The truck does have the 6 disc/MP3 however it does not have the feature where you can adjust for seating positions as stated in the owners manual I do have the sub whoofer under the left rear seat are there 2 diffrent 6 disc/Mp3 radios?

Sentences that start with capital letters and end with periods are a great help for people trying to figure out what you are saying.

If you have the audiophile option, you should be able to press the menu button and change the seating position from Driver to Rear and maybe to something else. I am not sure if there are 2 different 6 disc/MP3 radios. Check the manual against your stereo and you should be able to decipher what you have.

Nope-- the signal pins are not driven although there is indeed live power
at the sub connector. I was hoping I could just slap in a sub on my non-audiophile HU...it's not the case :-(

Gordon - take it back to the dealer and have them investigate. There are different Audiophile set ups....for instance in my '05 Lariat 4x4 SCREW, I have the 6 CD (non MP3) with Audiophile and my brother's exact same truck, (he bought his 1 week after I got mine), has the Audiophile system with the 6 CD AND MP3......his started as the "Preimum Sound Package" then the Audiophile was added by the factory - whereas mine started as (according to my window sticker) a non CD head unit and it was upgraded to a 6cd player with Audiophile option.....I know this because the window sticker reflects a seperate charge for the 6CD upgrade and the Audiophile options. Additionally, my HU does not have any labeling, whereas, my brother's has the "6CD/MP3" labeling right on the face. We compared both sound systems and belive it or not we agree that mine appears to have more power/sound better than his???

If your headunit only has two plugs in the rear, then you definitely do NOT have the audiophile headunit.
