Does anyone have the billet a/c ***** and/or the power window switches? I was trying to decide on the chrome or satin, but now I can't find the chrome window switches and I don't want chrome ***** and satin switches. Does anyone know if they make chrome switches. If they don't does anyone here have the satin ***** and switches and could give some opinions? Thanks!

 

you can get polished everything from MGW, thats what we are getting for our truck sometime in the near future ( $$$ ). Looks very similar to the Chrome

 

I have the satin in my L and hubby has the chrome in his HD. Chrome looks beter in the HD The stuff from www.mgwltd.com is awesome!!! Door switches came from www.dynamicracingparts.com Check the link in my sig for pictures of both trucks Hope his helps

 

I've been looking into that stuff too lately. www.mgwltd.com has some pretty good prices for the stuff and i've heard great stuff about their quality and all. they come in both chrome or satin on all the stuff. for the HD, i say get all chrome i've only seen satin window switches though, but i'd rather get all chrome and have it look alot better, and wait for them to come out with the chrome switches than get the satin stuff and only be so-so happy with it. its only a matter of time for them to come out with them, or somebody else to. they just came out with the chrome radio **** last week. So i'm gonna get the chrome stuff and wait for the chrome switch buttons

hmm, not sure. they do look more like chrome than most that i've seen, but its hard to tell from the pic. if you get them, keep us posted on how they compare to the rest of the billet pieces, cuz i'll probably get them then

 

Well I don't know if I want to be the first one to try it all out considering that's almost $200 worth of stuff!

The stuff i'm getting from mgw will run me just over 100, which isn't as bad as i originally thought it would be, but still pricy to be experimenting if you aren't sure what you want

 

The polished switches from Dynamic Racing are $74.95. The stuff from MGW is very nice and fairly cheap! The AOD **** is $28, tilt steering is $15, A/C ***** are $60, the turn signal **** is $20, and the radio **** is only $10. Total rounds up to a little over $150 and were bling blingin! If the switches match, who's gonna be the guinea pig (if that's how you spell that!)

 

wow thats alot for just some switches! I'll pass on those. hopefully mgw will come out with them eventually.
I'm going to get the AOD **** (28), tilt **** (15), AC ***** (60), and turn signal **** (20), so 123 total plus shipping and all, but i'm gonna email them before i do it and see if there's anyway they could do a package deal, or free shipping or something if i order all that. I don't like the stereo ****, it looks like a blob of chrome in the middle of the radio, just doesn't look right IMO, which is good cuz it saves me a little money
then the only other thing i want to get besides the window switches (which i won't be unless i can find them cheaper and in polished bilet elsewhere) is billet door locks that i saw at another site.
Other than that, not much else i want to mod in the interior. I won't be ordering the ***** until january though, cuz i'm getting a different mod this month instead.

 

I think the switches from power surge performance are $99! I think I might just get the MGW stuff and then wait on somebody to start producing chrome switches for a reasonable price. Oh yeah Josh on the radio **** I'm not getting it either, I agree with you, I just put the price down I think my gf is gonna get me an aftermarket cd player for Christmas!

Just noticed something that might be an answer to our question about whether or not the switches from Dynamic racing would match our CHROME door handles! Look at My01Bolt's gallery, switches and our door handles don't match!

 

I don't think that the Dynamic Racing switches will match the door handles, but they will match the speedo and tach guages in our HD's. You could always polish the satin switches yourself.

I got the MGW stuff a couple of months ago and it looks great in the HD. It really compliments the interior well. You guys will be very happy with the quality, everything fit beautifully!

 

yeah its kind of a toss up. go satin or brushed to match the gauges? or go chrome/polished billet to match the handles and seat *****. I think since its just the cluster that is brushed look, and its not a functional **** or handle, the only other thing on the interior that would match very well would be brushed aluminum dash kits in the same pattern as the cluster, cuz they are all "flat" pieces, and not handles like the chrome door handles. but i'm not even gonna get into that....too much money,...so i'm just getting the billet stuff to match the chrome handles, and i'll just wait for mgw to come out with window switches cuz its only a matter of time, and i'll need that time to save up the money

well there are 3 coming up. one is i'm being a lab test rat for a FTVB for the 4R70 tranny, and the other two are top secret for now I'll give another hint though, one's bling and the others a smooth custom detail/appearance mod LoL!

 

I got all the stuff from MGW in satin because there is no chrome inside the L. Then decided that I wanted the HD door handles & seat *****. I just didn't like the black door handles. I'm happy with the way it looks in the L, but for the HD I would definetly do chrome.

 

hey My01Bolt, aren't the 03L's coming with brushed aluminum interior accents and handles? i thought i remember reading that somewhere, but not sure if they changed plans with that.
