'02 Availability
Just a quick heads-up for y'all still looking for '02's. Greenway Ford in Orlando, FL advertised that they have 18 '02's available. They all have the same equipment - (everything) with selling price of $31,832. That has the rebates of $1,000. and $400 college grad taken off.
I don't know about test drives, I don't really live that close. I was checking about a trade though their websight......too much of a difference figure between my '01 and an '02. I was willing to trade up for a 9,000 difference. They want a 13,000 difference. Too far apart in my case.
The web sight is www.greenwayford.com . you can see what their inventory is today.
Sorry no picks. Maybe Eric can get some. Greenway is a pretty big dealer.

went for a test drive, THROTTLE STUCK OPEN!
Test drove #7830 today and once we got on an open road I punched it. Took it thru 1st, then 2nd at WOT then let off before it shifted to 3rd.
The throttle stuck wide open! I hit the brakes cause I had plenty of room ahead, hoping it would come unstuck but it didn't! I didn't want to clamp the brakes down cause I didn't want to damage anything permanently. After about 40 ft of that I said enough and turned the key back to the off position. We were still going about 35mph and I put it in neutral and started it back up, thinking it may have been an electronic problem. Well it cranked up and went straight to redline! I shut it down after it bounced off the rev limiter a couple times and coasted into a parking lot. That thing is a bitch to turn without power!
Popped the hood and sure enough the throttle linkage was about 3/4" off of the throttle stop. We snapped it open a couple times and it finally closed all the way. Then we hopped in and babied it home. I'd stay away from that one!
What do you want pics for? They're just factory 2002 H-D's. About 7-9 black ones and 4-5 gray ones. You have to go thru too much bs to just go by and take pics, all the new stuff is inside a gate, not to mention Orlando traffic.
Where did you get that price of $31.8k, the website and sticker said $38.5? Was that specific to your tradein? Or is that an outright price, no strings attached?

and on a side note...
the salesman was very nice but only a week old, i asked him a couple questions and he had to go ask someone inside, listen to the specs they gave him:
354hp
345ft-lb
4r70W transmission
WTF?
shouldn't it be 340/425/4r100?
gearhead, what about those prices?
