Have you had your truck on the dyno yet ?

Cause if you run 104+ trap speeds and weigh that much at the track you have got to have 40-50 rwhp more than me.

Is the 5568 with you in the truck - or the truck alone?

By the way - according to the pre-stage calculator you would have to be putting 470hp to the rear wheels at 5568lbs to run 13.2!! Thats alot of HP - aprox. 540hp at the crank? I believe the 13.2 run (I have no reason not to ) but the best that I have run is 13.6 - also on a very very hot and humid day! I am "only" putting 425 hp to the rear wheels with 536lbs of torque - I still can't launch the thing with the stock wheels and tires and can't beat 2.4 at 60' - so I'm waiting for the weather to cool off to see if I can get it around 13.2 or better.

Went to Atco all ford show and race today. My face still looks like this --->

I've never seen a L or HD run the quarter, and there were about a dozen L's running, Just about every one of them was from this site (saw the new KB twin screw charger! AWSOME) saw johnny lightning's trucks and setup, and a brand new 6 day old 02 harley truck, trailered up to NJ from SC, with only 200 miles on it, and he ran a 14.5 and then a 13.9 and this was in about 80 - 85 degree heat i guess and humid!, so thats really good, and it wasn't modded that much, pulley, intake, don't think he has a chip yet. ANd he can get me 02 HD headlights for 300 for the set, and that includes shipping . Great day today!!! Can't wait to go back tomorrow for the rest of the show and watch the finals at the track.

and you guys know me. Pics Pics PICS will be up after the show

You must not have read the disclaimer on the website: "for cars that are setup for drag racing and assumes that everything in the car is fairly well matched (i.e.: cam, gears, converter, etc.). Now, if you have a car with a stock converter, 3.08 gears, and something like a 292 cam, its just not going to be very accurate."

It is best if you use this only as a reference, i.e. get the webpage result and use your times as an offset. Basically, it will tell you how much additional HP you will need (using your current setup) to achieve your desired result. If the webpage says you run a 14.5 and you actuallly ran 13.6, then offset the results by 0.9 (still not accurate). Use only as fun and reference!

I am using the calculator "as fun and reference" but with the entered weight and HP it is very accurate to what I am actually running with my truck - so I think that its fair to assume what I did to run a 13.2 in the Harley

I met a guy and gal in Bristol that had a 100 shot on his 02 HD. He also had a 6lb pulley, chip, throttle body and intake. He said that the truck would run 13.8 w/o nitrous in the hot Florida heat but he did not have times with the nitrous. Maybe they will chime in and give us the low down; I think they are members of this site.

cobra, it was great to meet you today. I have some pics of your truck on the dyno i'll upload later, and a video of it i'll try to upload if i can figure it out. Damn did that truck SCREAM! on the dyno. Very awsome, congrats on getting in the 400/500 club!

Let me know next time your going to the track once it cools down out. I'll have to meet up with ya there sometime and watch your run, i'll video tape it too. It would be awsome if you could run that other guy's 02 from southcarolina. Well i'm gonna mess with these pics now, i'll talk to ya later, - joshv_85@yahoo.com
