JL audio makes a custom subwoofer box that fits in the center console of the back seat. It is a molded fiberglass box including the subwoofer (10" I think) that you cannot see when the lid is down. Problem is it costs $560 (I think I called the Good Guys) and that doesn't include the amp. Do you think it is worth it? -After my other engine mods of course.

 

I got everything you see in my sig plus all the wiring for around $600.

 

Harleyboy, I see a Leer harley hard tonneau in your list of goodies. I haven't seen a harley tonneau from leer in their literature. Where did you get it and what makes it different from the other leer covers?

turbojones, it was only offered on 00 HD's. It was free too
It's a special design tonneau that was only made for HD's, so it is special to the truck like the rims and such. So unless you got a 00HD, you couldn't get that tonneau cover so it makes it extra special. LoL Its the best looking tonneau out there IMO, and i'm not just saying that cuz i have one. It just flows great with the truck, and the contours match the hood lines, and then it curls up in like a mini-spoiler at the end. And its a single lock cylinder too which cleans the look up and is easier

You can get a Leer which looks almost like the 00 HD for the 02s. There is another thread with pics. I hear they are having a hard time matching the color if you want Gray though.

 

Yeah, Its the leer 700. It looks somewhat similar. Differences are the bump is skinnier in the back, and there isn't a spoiler type thing either. And its a little taller lid. Still nice though

 

They finally came out with the enclosure for the HD? I know they were going to make it a 10 but haven't seen the box yet.. I've been waiting about 3 months for it... It's kind of up to you whether its worth it. That's a fair amount of money for a sub and enclosure, but I think it would be worth it to me..

 

i had a local stero shop build mea costom box in my rear center console for a jl 10 w7 it was 300 and the console look stock form the out side

 

I just had a custom box built for my rear console.

It takes the entire space inside. There is a 10" in there and it is ported out the back of the console. Much more bass than I will ever need and sounds awsome. Cost $200 labor plus the cost of the speaker.
