Just eye-balling mine, it also looks level. You actually have to take a real measurement. In the instructions that came with the Belltech shackles, there should have been a pre/post-checklist for front and rear heights. The measurement should be taken from the center of the wheel to the point directly vertical on the fender flare. Those on the L forum have noticed the same, but relate this to allow for weight of the gas tank. I question this because I had zero variance before the install and 1/2" immediately after. It does vary slightly with the amount of fuel in the tank, but did not take measurements with stock shackles to verify this was the case before the install.
Thanks for your replies!

I measured mine before and after. Both sides sat at 34 1/4 inches from the ground at the rear, and 32 1/4 inches at the front. Measuring from the center of the wheel (actually didn't use center because there isnt a way to get perfect on those wheels, I used the lugnut cover measuring from the bottom), front measures 22 1/8 and rear was 24 1/4. After installing the belltech shackles, I measure 23 at the rear. 1 1/4 drop with the 2
inch shackles. And the funny thing is, the hole I used in the shackle is 2 1/2 inches from the factory hole.

Well, I have added the pics to my gallery, but they are not showing up yet. Is there usually a delay for them to actually be done in the gallery list? When the pics are finally available, they will answer your previous question Harley 356. I took some pics of the shackles with the stock bolt inserted into both shackles at the same time. This give an accurate measurement, and you can see the tape reading. I had two pics, but one has to much flash glare to read the numbers on the tape measure.
Hopefully, they will be available online soon.

I'd say get 2" drop shackles. the guys with 3" shackles had to get them custom made, and either have the front dropped an additional inch and needed the 3" rear drop to level it out, or will end up with the back a little lower after it all settles in the end most likely. Maybe not, but with my 2" rear shackles on, the rear fender gap is only 1/8 to 1/4" bigger than the front which is perfect. Maybe it'll be different for the screw, but i dunno i'd think it would be the same cuz the trucks are the same length. Plus you'll probably bottom out a little more with the 3". good luck, let us know how it turns out!
*edit* o yeah, i know a few guys at the other site added helper bags and it worked out fine

Normally I wouldn't question using 2" drops but the Active Suspension actually bends the leaf springs up a little raising the back end some. Thanks for the responses.
I just don't want to have the same a$$ up stock look afterwards. I guess I could add the Active Suspension first to see how much it raises things, then drop appropriately. I'm just not very patient and I want it all done at once ;-)
Anyone else out there with Active Suspension or other helper springs?
Best.
