Smile HD Gifts Arrived!

I purchased my HD on May 5, 2002 build #3069 and just received my personalized plaque and knife with the pouch in a very nice case. I was rather stoked about it, as I had read a lot about people not receiving anything form Ford. It also included a nice letter form Todd Eckert. The letter has a phone number for questions or comments @ (248) 458-5122. Wuld any of you out there in F-150 Online know where I might get one of the posters "Meet Your New Flame" that my dealership has in their showroom? The dealer offer me theirs but some bozo stapled it on the wall. I would like to get a clean one and frame it for my office. I would appreciate any suggestions or assistance.
THANKS!

Must have sent out another shipment of them. I got mine yesterday as well. Really nice.

Someone in another post was getting posters and I think laminating them. Search the forum.

Hemiuk

He is with Ford not the dealership. His name is on the letter as the author and Alan Pinter (spelling?) is listed on the return address

Question

Just bought mine two weeks ago. Guess I'll head back to the dealership and make certain I have one on the way.

Oh! By the way. Howdy from a one-day F150 newbie!

"Grzechowski"

It's Irish (yeah right!)

Hahaha... yeah, and with that my Dad figured I didn't need a middle name. So, no middle name/initial for me.

What makes it further screwed up, is until I bought my house a couple weeeks ago, as (bad) luck would have it I always had a long street name that always needed to be spelled out to people too.

Question

How long after your purchase did that set-up arrive?
That's a nice "gift" from from Ford!

I think about six weeks, maybe eight weeks at most.

But, I would bet that they do this so many times of years (say six), so the time you bought it has little effect as you to when you get it as you might fall into the front, or rear, of the window.

Example: You know, they send them out in March 1st say, but if you bought it Jan 1st you have a long wait, but if you bought it Feb 21th your wait isn't nearly as long.

welcome HawgGawd. Just a fyi about the plaque and knife, going to your dealer won't get you anywhere. They usually don't know anything about the gift set, or when you'll get it. But everybody should get one, whether you ordered it or just bought it off the lot. It just may take a few months.

congrats on your ride and newplaques

yep, its the only thing they send out. IF you get any other gifts, it would be from your ford dealer. You've only had your truck for 3 weeks, give it time, most wait an average of 4 months to get their stuff. It seems that beanstalk sends out the owner gifts once every few months in big amounts. So like if they send it out a bunch of gifts every other month on the 1st of the month, if you buy your truck right after they sent out the last batch, you'll have a long wait, if you happen to but it right before they send out the next batch, you won't have as long a wait. See what i mean? I wouldn't start worring about it until you've had your truck for about 3-4 months.
