aight, just curious. There's no rush on them. I doubt they will be going anywhere as the covers have been there for almost a year already.

 

So Josh do you think I may get one for a knock down price if they have had them that long. (here's hoping so )

the damn tonneau is separating. now its sagging in the middle. gotta take it back for them to fix. might need a new cover i hope not

 

Hi Josh hope it's not to much of a problem for you, is that a common problem with the covers ? anyway I spoke to Frank today and the cover is going to be arround $750 so is this a good price ?

750.00 for thr HD cover is a real good price.

 

O yes! 750 is an extremely good price. Especially since its already painted and special edition to the HD trucks. I'd definately say go for it!

as for the cover separating, i've heard of a few guys covers doing this. They should be able to fix it. Probably have to take it off the truck though and separate it completely and reglue it if they can with a better adhesive. But even still, the cover is unique to the HD trucks so i'd still say go for it, you could get a good one

i'm gonna go out there probably wednesday so i'll post the results.

well, i posted this in another spot, but i do it here too.

took the truck in on wednesday, they called leer and they are sending me another HD cover. they can't fix the problem. well, they could, but they aren't gonna . hopefully i get a flawless cover like this one was, and they fixed their quality issues (yeah right )

i'll probably be going back in next year to get my 3rd cover

 

Hey Josh it's good to hear that someone is getting something out of Leer, so if they are giving you a nwe cover how come I can't get my first one they told me that they don't make our covers any more I think that someone over at Leer is giving me a line, let me know how you get on, one more thing Josh next time you go down to your local dealer could you ask them about the bed extender see if they know if there is a cage nut behind the tailgate closing panel or if they use a template to drill the holes and then tap one out for the catch it locks on to cheers bud

anyway, just had a though. you might wanna try calling leer and get ahold of a person who knows the HD truck deal, and tell them you know where you can get a HD cover, and if they will give you a certificate for it, or at least 1/2 off or something. might be worth a try
