harley wheel weight?
I was told the backspace is 5" and the bolt pattern is 5x135mm
After searching around, the best I could come up with is 1 or 3 piece forged aluminim in 20x9 or 20x8.5. These weigh in right at 30lbs. The tire will weigh roughly the same and once mounted, with stems and wheel weight, I suspect 65lbs is about as good as it is going to get for a 20". Being 80 lbs stock, 15lbs per wheel won't be enough weight reduction or reduction of moment of inertia to justify the trouble. I can sell my stock rims and replace them with the centerline mace (beautiful rim!) and actually come out ahead, but the weight saving is almost nil and isn't worth the trouble.
I guess I will stay stock for a while...
HRE makes really great rims also. They are 3 peice forged with the outermost rim part being replaceable in the event that the rim hits a curb or something. This means you don't have to replace the whole set if the particular center is discontinued....
