o yeah, i meant to tell you yesterday, after i painted my tips and they dried for a day, i used liquid glass on the inside just as an extra precaution step. They have been painted for a week and are holding up fine though under daily driving. Even if i have to re do them once a year its worth it. Talk to you later.

I painted the inside of my tips about a month ago too I used POR 15 gray, it wont peel chip or crack. GREAT STUFF and stops any rust, I also painted the steering box with it too.

got any pics? and where can you get that stuff?

I may try it if the rustoleum ever wears off like after the winter if the other stuff still looks like the tip would be new stock
