re

LT1s run better from a stop. They are more low end than the LS1 while the LS1 pulls hard up top. An LS1 from a roll would be a mistake for sure much like a 4.6 Cobra(tuned for top end). I must say though, that the 02 HDs are badass. So fast for a big truck. My fiance's dad bought one and I want to see what it runs.

Dope! I was thinking of the '97. I had the '97 back in the USMC and got the '99 just after I got out. I usually don't post until the wee hours of the morning PST.:o

Hey Y2K Silverado, check out ebay if you really want to get an HD for less than the California dealers are raping people for. I have seen them from a dealer in TX for 33,900 buy it now price and a dealer down the street from me has them on there for 34,500 buy it now. I have seen them with buy it now prices on up to around 38k and higher too, but if your serious, they can be had for good deals. You can ship that truck for around 750.00 or so depending on the distance. I think East coast to West Coast is around 900.00, but that is still less than what the Cal. dealers are asking.

I would like to be included in that conversation! I'm 25 minutes from Charlotte. Maybe we can meet at David Brown Motorsports on Albemarle road and do some dyno runs.

Never do it...I just go out on a long, flat west Texas 4 lane miles from anyone and do it instead. I do feel for the guys in the Northeast where roads like these don't exist .
