I've heard of 5.0L Mustangs going that long, but I don't personally know of a 4.6L going that long.
I do have a couple of friends with 99 GTs with the 4.6 and they have about 75-80K miles, and their cars feel just as strong or stronger than when new.
They both are relatively stock and they both run in the mid to high 13's in the 1/4.

Well seeing ya can pay for de gas.... can ya pay for the Harley!....
The 'stangs are a dime a dozen from my perspective..... the Harley will be the head turner.... based on my experiences "Downunder".... not that I have a 'stang.
But be careful FORD don't rip you off for what is rightfully yours..... like they have with me......but then again with the 02 model now out..... poor ol' William J. Ford Junior is trying to get the stock price back up by cutting out the promo items that have come or were supposed to come with prior year model HDF-150's......short term gain.....long term pain.... whereas more progressive CEO's and Chairmen would be looking to short term pain for long term gain!!!!

I think it all comes down to style.
Do you want something that will get the attention of:
A: The cops
B: The chicks
C: Everyone
I pick C: Everyone.....
If I were a younger stud, I'd probly go for the Mustand. Hell, My first car was a Z28.
But I'm more refined now. Chicks with large bank accounts like the Harley MUCH better. Also, I don't like falling into and climbing out of a car.
Don't get me wrong, a mustang rocks! But a Harley turns heads!
