Hey i've got a question for the people with the 00 hd that tried to get a 01's tailgate emblem from ford. when i ordered mine, i had to use a 01's vin #, and i'm still waiting two months later for them to get it in. the parts guy said they are so backed up they aren't even making them. also, i asked him about the 02's headlights, and he said they were 200 a side, but he didnt' know about the pedals, if anyone can find out please post the price and product #. also i just attached a picture of the dealers 01 harley for your viewing pleasure

I work @ a dealership in AZ and I ordered the L lights for my 2001 HD, before ford jacked up the price, i paid only $300 for all six my cost. Now after Ford's outragous mark up all six lights cost $700 my cost and $1100 for any customer that comes in.

And the emblems shouldn't be on back order I ordered one for a customer because his was scratched and it only took three weeks to come in, but that also was 6 mos. ago.

If I can be of any help to you guys online feel free to get a hold of me. I've done some mods to my 2001 HD (you can see alist of them under:

GREG OAK, and harleyrules. thanks for your offers for help, but i've gotta sit and wait for the emblem cuz i gotta get it from ford. The reason is because the head guy at the dealers is paying for half the price of the emblem for my tailgate, and using his vin #. If I had to pay for it myself, i'd probably go to that site. BTW, any news on the price for the pedals?

I WAS LOOKING FOR A FRONT END FULL (HARLEY) BRA FOR THOSE LONG TRIPS.. NOW I CAN GET THE TAILGATE EMBLEM ALSO.

The pedals are in the Ford computer with part numbers but no prices as of yet.
The also list the supercharger for the HD it cost $900 the same as the L, but the part number is off my a diget. after labor you're still looking @$2000.
So these new parts are coming soon, for us to update our HD's.
I will keep all you posted.

Your certain this comes with all the connecting attachments, intake tube, pulleys, belts, bolts, gaskets, etc required to install it?

Ill go order one right now if thats the case. Somehow I fear this is too good to be true.

 

and why on earth is it 2000 dollars to install???

at an average charge of 50 dollars an hour, thats 40 man hours of work. It does NOT take 1 week to install a supercharger im sorry.

Something is very wrong here. It seems like the 900 pricetag and the 2000 labor charge are backwards.

 

The way I am reading it is, the total package with the supercharger and labor is $2000.00, not 900.00 plus 2000.00.

Am I the only one reading it that way? I am definitely interested in it however. I have my friend at a Ford dealership looking into it for me. Will let you know what he finds out as soon as I can.
