Even that is dirt cheap for an entire supercharger kit.

Even the cheapest aftermarket kit is nearly double that.

Not that I would complain one bit if it turns it the price is right...however given that we are talking about ford here...I find it hard to believe an entire supercharger would go for nearly the price of a set of lightning head/tail/marker lights

 

Ok here is the results I found out today. The supercharger costs Ford 925.00, over counter price was 1235.00 that is just for the supercharger, doesn't include all the hardware that one would need to install, idler pulleys etc.... belt..... there you have it..by the time you get everything needed for the install over counter price is around 2500.00 plus labor to install..

 

That makes a tad more sense
