Smile Tattooed HD Truck

Hi first time user, I have a '00 HD Truck and I'm proud to own one. I enjoy talking to HD Truck owners and take pictures of others when possible. I am from Cedar Rapds IA and took a trip to the Ozarks a couple of weeks ago. We were in the Osage Beach area when I ran into a Harley Truck that a Tattoo Artist owns. I was amused by the way he added graphics, that I took a couple pictures I would like to show other HD Truck owners. I also, talked to the owner, who has a '02 on order, which would probably make this one available in a short time. I hope my attachments turn out and if they don't I'll find a way to show them. Enjoy!

Thumbs up

That's sweet. Once I get a tonneau I plan on having a custom vinyl decal made for it. Are the rails on your lid a custom install or are they an actual manufacturer's accessory?

I agree. The whole Harley image is no longer visible.

Well guys, just like tattoos...truck graphics are a personnal taste thing. I understand the idea that it no longer looks like the "Harley image" that Ford had in mind, but it's hardly disgusting(caughtya's word).

Isn't customizing until something is almost unrecognizable a very "Harley" thing to do?

I always thought so.

that was just my personal opinion

And no that is not the Harley Image. The Harley image is something that stands out in the crowd that will turn faces. Its like the red rose in a field of yellow daisies.

Harley wants people to see their products and say 'WOW' not 'What is that?'

I know what you meen. I have seen that paint job on about 100 different cars, I see fewer blue cars around here. A paint job like that doesn't turn heads any longer.

you guys suck, I like the paint job . mv, I've been thinking of doing some custom work to mine as well, is that vinyl or actually painted on? I am possibly soon going ot be repainting my entire truck with some custom stuff, but looking to find a good shop to do it (and I wouldn't mind driving a long ways if I knew it was going to be done right for a good price!)

That's not nice!

To say someone sucks simply because of their stated opinion is quite boorish indeed! Just as it was that Harley owner's choice to put those graphics on his truck, it's our choice to hate and state it.

God Bless America!

I think that looks out of control. That is a sweet paint job. I'm looking right know into custom paint. Nothing like that but something close. In my opinion I think it's cool looking.

Angry

I think it looks awful as well! He should have bought a regular F150 for that. It is no longer a limited edition in my eyes.

Wow, gives a whole new side to rice-burners huh'? Maybe in this case we could call it a 'bean-burner'??

I like it!!! But I don't like the checkered flag paint. I just like the orange and yellow splash down the side.
