Will 305-45-22 tire fit on the 2010 Harley?
I run a 305/40/22 on my HD wheels with a 4/6 drop and even I don't rub. You would have definitely been fine with a 305/45/22 but the ones you got look fine anyhow.
That thing about the uneven wear with a 305 doesn't pertain to the 22 HD wheels because they are 9" wide. The stock 20s that come on the FX2/FX4 , lariats, and king ranch are 8.5" wide.
EDIT: Wow I just realized how old this thread is.

The truck looks good!
I think when you increase both, you really notice the difference.

I have the exact same truck as you. Now that you have had the Coopers for a while, how do you like them?
Is the wear even? Have you noticed any complications do the the extra width? How are they holding up? How loud is the hum? Do you notice that they throw rocks? Last but not least, did they effect your speedometer or gas mileage.
I am looking into these for my truck and trying to do my research but love the look of this tire.
Thanks for the help.

Handling is better than with the Pirellis...wear seems to be even. I do rotate them every 2nd oil change.
No complication from the extra width..in fact the opposite. Handling is improved & if my wife happens to rub them against a curb, the tires gives me some protection from curb rash...the Pirellis did not.
Road noise is a hair louder than the Pirellis...really not much. Haven't noticed them throwing rocks & I've got a long commute to work & part of it is through a construction area where the road is being widened...so lots of debris.
No effect on speedometer..the diameter is almost identical to the Pirellis. The gas mileage might be a touch worse, but nothing I've really noticed. These tires are not as heavy as Nitto Terra Grapplers & other true all terrain tires.

One more question. Do the tires stick out past the fender flares? I ask becuase in Louisiana you can't get an inspection sticker for your vehicle if the tires extend more than 1 inch from the fenders.
Thanks,

I haven't really paid much attention to mine. The last oil change they were listed at 35 psi and are wearing like they should I think.
Post some pics Advocate.
