After breakin two wrenches last friday trying to take the rear leaf packs off, I found this guy that is really reasonable and cool and has a lift & air tools, he is guna let me help and watch the lowering process in his shop. Do you fellas have any ideas what is a reasonable price that is fair for both of us.
my first thought was "come by my shop and we'll do it."
soon after, i thought, i don't have the lift, and i did mine in the gravel driveway...
and then there's the 30 mile drive
it took my father and i a solid day to do my drop, but thats with fabricating the cradles for the flip in the rear and all the little stuff.
takin a shot in the dark, if he's got the right tools, and you don't run into any problems, $300-400, maybe... don't quote me on that.

I paid my buddy 200 to help with mine. He had tall jackstands, a good floor jack, a grinder, air chiesel, drill bit, etc. If your using his help to do the flip kit, it isnt that much work, and pretty much just turning wrenches. Id undo the hanger bolt, and shackle bolt, and just take the leafs off the axle, then reinsert them below the axle. That way you dont have to mess with driveshaft and what not. Id do the shocks after you get the flip kit on.

Dam dribone that prety sweet that u got your own shop. I keep meaning to look for your truck during the day, one day we should meetup on the ave or something so we can check each others trucks out. So yea it sounds like $200-300 sounds fair to every one. Patman- I think in my kit i have to take the leaf pack off b/c theres some bolt i have to switch for the flip or something not sure, there are really good directions on-line. Just in case you guys are interested or dont have jacks, I found some really cheap and good jack from harborfreight.com my freind got his from there and said they are great, so im thinkin about buying myself one for a x-mas gift.:santa:
Yea I know, I'm shooting to have it done the week after thanksgiving, if things dont go acording to plan i should have it done before christmas. I seldomly see this guy that has my exact car with the same DJM drop and it looks awsome ill be sure to take some picks of his car if i see him in the next couple weeks.
