Haven't seen any technical discussions of this on the HD forum yet, and that's where I'm interested in hearing folks discuss and test equipment.
I may have to have one if just for the "purty" lights.

Higher boosted vehicles will benefit from this more than stock vehicles, the average gain in the 1/4 on a 4lb pullied Lightning was .14. On a stock 5.0 mustang with a single coil, a similar unit made 7.9 more hp and 7.9 more ftlbs of Tq, the gains on a coil on plug type of system will be greater. There is a writeup about this unit tested on the 5.0 Mustang in the Jan 02 issue of MM&FF.

As soon as I get it installed, i'll do back to backs and let you guys know what it's worth.
Once installed, all you have to do is remove the ground wire and it will not work and not interfere with the stock COP.
I will go to the dyno and let the truck run until the e-fans come on (tells me i am at full op temp) and then do a two-run pull.
I'll let it cool again, then idle again till the fans come on and do another two-run pull with the plasma on.
This way, I can see what top gains I get and what gains I get with a heat soaked engine.
If you guys have any other ideas concerning a good way to dyno back to back, let me know.
*edit* update: it's here. Going to try to work out an install today.
