Hi Dave,

Give us a rundown of what all goes on at the rally! I'm interested, and since San Antonio is my old "stompin' grounds" it might be a great excuse for a trip.

Thanks!
Don

Ok to give a basic run down of what we have done in the past..I will try to post in the order I think they come in.

1) meet great people who share a common interest.

2) laugh alot

3) usually go on several cruises around town and into the hill country, get photos and parade around our pride and joys. It is really a sight to see 20-40 trucks cruising in one place.

4) take over parking lots and get thrown out of some of them.

5) this year we may take over River City raceway and do alittle drag racing, for those who want to. Its really fun to see those lightnings 360 to 480 hp..(WILDMAN!!)

6) do alittle drinking, or some do alot of drinking

7) laugh alot

8) get a chance to catch other members in funny situations, no one is spared..

9) basically we have a great time...

If any of you have made any of the other rallies or Texas Heatwave, Fun Ford weekends..Feel free to give your stories and if the time was worth the trips. Hope to see you guys/gals there.....Dave

Last years SA rally was a great time. There are some pictures on My site. Click on the " other F150 events" link.

It is fun cruising in a line of 20 or more F150's and seeing the reactions of the normal people....

Since we didnt have any Drag racing scheduled last year we did some impromptu road racing in the hill country, that was a blast as I tried like crazy to stay out of Nathan and Wyldmans way.

We pissed off some rent a cops, I got caught sleeping in a chair in Dave's living room. I will leave it to someone else to post the picture...

The 4x4's and some 4x2's found a cliff to climb and we made some high speed passes down a deserted stretch of road till Nathans Brakes started shooting sparks.....

Looking forward to March...
Doug

Dont let this happen to you

Buy a CB before you get to SA. Walmart sells 2 portable 40 channels for like $50.00 You will want an external antenna though. That adds about $ 20 more dollars

Hey I don't know if there already is one or not but there needs to be an offroad trail ride during this thing. That would give me one more reason to go.

Well we can definitly fit it in, of course some of us will have to pile in the 4x4s...The picture above (the one showing headlights only) was a cliff we had to climb..I and a couple of the other 4x2 cheated and went another way, still rough but we made it up..Im not doing it anymore because I am tired of realigning and cleaning....but I can ride very good...Dave
