Put it anywhere

or you can just leave it under your dash. Tie-wrap it, tape it, put it anywhere you want it as long as the cord will reach.

you might as well just unplug it if you're going to do that. it can still work while unplugged.

Smeezy - thanks for the feedback - good to know it won't hurt to unplug the unit and store it out of site.....also, I wanted to take a minute and say THANK YOU for bringing the Edge to our attention.....I must say I am glad I have waited this long for a tuner as the Edge appears to be exactly the kind of tuner I was looking for!!

Stand up and take a bow

By the looks of it we should have set up a 60 or 70 person group buy deal.

I'll probally just end up using some velcro.

Is anyone worried that after using tape/velcro, when you peel it off the dash its going to take the paint with it?

I've used velcro for along time on the dash of my vehicles and have had no problem taking off the glue when I'm done. I use velcro for attaching my handheld gps, and my sat radio, and of course the dash mat.

Question to the Webmaster

Webmaster,
Is there any way you could let me know what I can and can't say on this forum. I too had to sift through this thread for a long time and there were some good questions brought up that I think I could answer. I'm one of the engineers who designed this product and I think I could provide some valuable information. It would be nice if we started another thread that strictly deals with information, and not the group buys. I was going to post that we were looking for Beta testers, but I believe the rules stated that I couldn't. If you could get back to me about the forum rules, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks! Hope all of you enjoy this product. It was a blast to make.

I know your on the engineering side but I hope your guys in the shipping department send out a fully loaded UPS truck to TruckRacingParts!
For what its worth...I think this would be an excellent idea. Nothing like having an insider to help us out. I'm not the webmaster but I don't see where it would be a problem

I would think you could start a thread in the Chips & Programming section without any problem as long as you don't violate the posting restrictions regarding vendors and advertising.

True. If Troyer can talk about xcal2's, it should be cool to talk about Edge products.

Thanks for stopping by! Check out this link right here. We are one step ahead of you, though we are missing someone with your expertise. Your input would be much appreciated...

Troyer is a site sponsor. Meaning he pays the webmaster money and can say anything he wants.

If you get enough site sponsors you can make money running a website like this one.
