I give a ton of credit to the Canes, they beat the Devils, Canadians, and Leafs (that's no easy feat). Go Wings!!!!

GO WINGS!!! I love it. I didn't follow hockey too much before playoffs this year, as I have only lived in Detroit for almost two years. However, this year sparked my interest when I found out there was a chance Detroit would play Carolina for the Cup. I am attending college up here in the lovely state of Michigan as well as working as a co-op in Detroit. However, my parents live in NC. I did not enjoy my brief stay in the south when we moved there after my sophomore year of High School, so I loved seeing the Wings win. I've been calling some of my friends from down there to pick on them-they hate that mayberry thing. Now when I visit them in a week I'll be sure to fly a wings flag off my truck (It still has NC plates too) as I drive through Raleigh. I can't wait to see the reactions I get

It's wierd; but, my joy climaxed when the Wings took apart the Aves in game 7. I was sooooo high from that. Winning the Cup last night was GREAT; but, not as fine as beating the Aves. What's really cool is that Yzerman spoke of this win a the sweetest of all three. That took me by suprise, for some reason. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
