it might not be as bad as it seems. One day I was riding my moms bike (wasn't used to it, left Schwinn Mesa at dorm), I had just hit the bottom of the hill, fixing to go up it, I had it in a harder gear to pedel, I was standing up and the chain sliped. When the chain slipps and you are pedeling hard, you know what happens. Yea thats right, I went a little to the right and over the right handle. I was probley going around 25mph when the thing happened. My shoulder was the first to hit, then my ribs, then knee,and finaly my head. I got up really quick, saw blood on the pavement, couldn't breathe. After about a minute, I caught my breath, took my shirt off to stop the bleeding where the Okley's broke and punctured above my eyebrow. In the meantime, my sister had gone to get my mom, and my dad stayed thier, they showed up, We went home and got cleaned up. I was sore the next few day's, especially my ribs !!!

But yes, it was stupid to not wear a helmit. The guy in the picture knows something could go wrong, he should be wearing shin protectors, knee, elbow, chest, and most deffinatly, be wearing a MOTOCROSS HELMIT....

In conclusion, I would state its an example of IGNORANCE......
