ROAD RACE --- ricers go down HARD

I sold my 98 Expedition recently and purchased a 2002 Toyota Highlander V6. I run 93 octane and its rated at around 220 HP.

Competition as best I can describe:

1. VW Golf slammed and tricked.

2. New Honda Civic SI tricked.

3. Newer Inetgra tricked and slammed

4. Honda Civic of some sort tricked.

5. Newer Inetgra tricked and slammed

6. Honda Prelude tricked.

I was coming home as friday night. 6 Rice burners are screwing around and harrassing everyone. Driving very agressively. One even cut me off. We are traveling down a 4 lane road. The road turns onto an 8 lane highway. We get the light and I hear all of them downshift and gun-it! Soooo, I turn off the OD and shift into 1st (automatic) and gun-it as well. I stayed right on there asses unti we hit about 80 when I let off...

2 of them pull next to me and look at me and laugh.

Then 3 of them block the highway in front of me. One on each side of me and one right on my ***. They slow to about 45-50. Then the Integra next to me starts reving and ******* his car, so I shift into 2nd and rev and goose mine too. They laugh again and ALL of then floor it again, including me. I dusted 3 HARD, the Intgegra next to me was slowly falling back, and I was right on the *** of the Civic SI. None could take me and none could believe that my grocery getter could hang!

Out of all my muscle car stories, showdowns, races, etc... This was BY FAR the most gratifying!

Toyota Highlander is a fairly quick psuedo-mini-van!!!

You're right

A Toyota Highlander is NOT a ricer, unless he rices it out by adding wings, stickers, etc. It is, however, a rice burner. There is a difference.

Nice way to show those ricers a thing or two. I really hate 'em.

I know! I burn Basmati, however, I am NOT a ricer... No Neuspeed (nospeed) stickers anywhere on my vehicle NOR in my possesion!

My exhaust pipe is smaller than a Rubbermaid trash can and it does not sound like a gorilla fart.

Stock gauges!

Stock rims!

No rice writings...

No hot pink or yellow plastic interior alterations...

ITS A V6! Most ricers are 4....

yadda ydada

I'm with DanB

I am still rolling on the floor about:

I said it before, and I'll say it again: Way to show those Ricers!!!

I hate that you got rid of your Expedition, though.

Toyota is no longer a Japanese car company. They are domestic, they actually built more vehicles in the US last year than Chevy, and there not far behind Ford.

So to recap, Toyota's are American - Chevies are ricers

a highlander is a camry/lexus rx300 clone. all 3 have the same sweet v-6 (until it needs work done $$$$) all 3 ride on the same camry platform.

it's classed as a mid sized SUV.

nice car!

good luck-

I've said it once, I'll say it again: Ford=American car Co. Toyota= Foreign car company. Toyota=Ricer. DUH. Any profits from the sale of a Ford, stay in America. Any profits from a Toyota, go back to Japan. Game. Set. Match.

I'll bet that there are more than a few of us who are glad that Rand sold his Ford and bought a Toy.
