Attn: Cowlady, looks who's crawling!!!
Anna Claire crawled for the first time yesterday. Of
course, it was at the sitter's house so I missed it. I
made up for it last night though! She was crawling
all over the house. I don't think I have ever felt so
proud. It was great!!! My wife was bawling like
crazy. She says her little girl is growing up to fast.
I'm bustin' and had to tell someone.

Trapper.........Very, Very Cool........congrats...now, hide everything............the tablecloth hanging just a little bit over the edge.......the curtains that hang from the window............gotta love it...i can still remember both my daughters first self propelled moments...........
If your wife was bawling at the fact of your little pride and joy crawling, I hate to see what she will do when your girl decides to start walking.....Better have medical assistance there when that happens.
It seems like you always miss those life steps in the life of your kids....I know for one that I missed it on my son, because he was a year old when I met my now wife. She had him in a previous relationship, but I love him just as if he were my own....Not only that I have gotten him where he only wants Ford Trucks....What else can I say.

Thanks guys!
Yeah, I guess it's time to make sure everything
is nailed down. She's already pulling things off
the coffee table when she is in her walker.
What a messmaker, just like her old man!

That's great! My son is just about ready to take his first steps by himself. He has already been terrorizing everything in the house.
(Curtains, dog food bowls, CD's, trash cans, etc.)
Can't wait till he can change the oil with me!!

This reminds me of a line the hubby always liked......For the first 18 months you try to get them to walk and talk....for the next 18 years you try to get them to sit down and shut up.
Just kidding y'all. We have 2 wonderful girls 22 and 19 years old. I know where your wife is coming from. Mine were very early talkers and late walkers. When they took off on their own 2 little feet I was thrilled at their accomplishment, but teared up at the thought of my little baby growing up.

How awesome!
Trapper - that's WONDERFUL! God Bless her! I bet you're the proud Daddy - you have every reason to be!
I wonder if your wife was crying because Anna Claire IS so much like you - messy but adorable!
Maybe Mrs Trapper is thinking of all the extra work she has coming her way! LOL! Honestly, I understand how she feels because when my nieces & nephew took their first steps or said "Auntie Ang" for the first time I cried too! It's special & you'll have so many other "firsts" coming you'll be amazed!
I'm glad everything is okay with Anna Claire. Now, have YOU been taking care of yourself? Anna Claire is going to need Daddy's help when she takes her first step, learns to ride a bike, takes her first driving lesson - see where this is going? Make sure you take care ok? We ALL need you around for a long, LONG time!
