What's the Deal with Rebates?
I'm getting conflicting stories from dealers. In Baton Rouge, I'm told I can get $500 cash back and 0% for 36mos on a f150 SuperCrew. At a dealership in Texas, they tell me that's only for Explorers and if I choose to go with 0% I don't get any cash back. KBB shows that I should be able to get the $500 cash back and 0%. Anyone recently took advantage of this that can clear up the issue?
Also, on KBB it shows a $800 owner loyalty rebate but the dealer in Texas said that you have to had received something in the mail from Ford to add that. I can understand this one, but if anyone has more info I'd appreciate it.

I bought on 11/29 and it was either 0 % or rebate. I took 0%. May have changed since then. Only very good credit will qualify for 0%, 36 months. Don't know your credit status so you should ask if you qualify, just thought i would throw that in. You may be a multi-millionare. It that is the case. Just buy the dealership, sell yourself a truck below cost, and write off the loss.
