My wife has a Sable wagon. It's the same as the Taurus wagon I have as a company car so I'm used to the size. The problem I have is all the junk in the car. We have an almost 2 year old and an almost 6 year old and every time she gets in the car (every day) she brings a new toy and snack for them and the car gets shoveled out about once a month. She can't understand why I take all the kids' stuff out of the truck every time I take the kids out.

My wife has an '01 Explorer Sport Trac. A little smaller inside, but still sits tall. I like it. She wants a F250HD XCab next. So maybe I'll get her to post a "Ever drive the husband's truck?" thread. LOL.

'Had' to take my wife's 97 Gran Prix sedan to my sister's for Thanksgiving because her brother went with us--otherwise, we would have taken the L .

It's too 'low' and I'm only 5' 11". The seats are 'hard' but not that supportive. The cruise-control sucks. It's 'peppy' and gets better(not by much--15.5mpg with my new flip-chip--in the L) gas mileage--3.8L v6. It has a few 'goodies'--trac-control, low air pressure(tire) warning, tells you when the oil should be changed(shows a 'menu' of Royal Purple, Mobil 1, Amsoil, & LE oils to choose from--just kiddin' about the 'menu' ), and a damn good sound system(only loads 1 cd--L loads 6).

The ironic part of this is I chose the GP and had to 'convince' her it was 'right' for her. Turns out, she loves it.

Yep. 98 Mustang.......kind of fun to drive, but probably would be more fun with the 8 cyl instead of the 6. Good change of pace, and a he!! of a lot quicker to wash and wax (usually a 2-beer or so) than an f150 :-)

My wife has an 01 Taurus. It is an exceptionally bland car but it looks good in silver and is a hell of a lot better than the 96-99 version of the Taurus. She misses her 98 Explorer that we traded for it. It was a POS. We are looking at Explorers again. I miss that Explorer too. She will never have another car after this Taurus. It's just too nice having an Explorer or some other SUV for cargo or hauling family around.

My wife drives a '90 Bronco II. It has a broken front seat that can't slide back. It is stuck in the full forward position. At least it is not a car. I still feel like I am stepping down, since mine has a lift
