What's the stupidest thing you failed inspection for?

The Mustang failed once because I was sitting in the greasy office reading a well worn Penthouse (great articles) while the goober doing the inspection tried to adjust a headlight and managed to break the bulb and the housing it fits into. Claimed he didn't do anything but raise the hood. I left a couple of patches of rubber in the driveway and fixed the headlight and had it inspected somewhere else. Much more professional, clean shop, Road and Track magazine (great pictures).
