Cool

We actually got our first snow on Sept 15. Got about 5 inches Saturday is the most recent but it's almost all gone now.

So Gopher....

So how was it taking the dock and boat lift out this weekend? Did you fair any better grouse hunting this past weekend? I didn't get a chance to go, as I had too many things to get done before the snow flies and the wedding is here.....Yeah, I said Wedding. (Let the flaming begin )

What's to flame? Unless you're marrying your first cousin.

Well, lucky for me, the lift and dock got taken out last week when some of my other relatives were up. Good thing too, cause it would have been hard to get any traction in the yard with 6" of the white stuff on the ground! They pulled it out last week and the snow started flying right after they got them up!

Unfortunately, there wasn't a grouse to be seen anywhere. Pretty quiet all around. I think the snow kept people away. About the only gunshots we heard were one guy sighting in his rifle for deer hunting. Oh well, we got our last stand up, and saw lots of tracks in the snow, and we all got antlerless permits this year, so we're feeling pretty good!

Kind of wishing I had that nice tan color right now - my truck has a nice two tone look going - tan below the windows, blue above! All the snow and melting snow made things just a bit sloppy

Nope, not marrying my first cousin....Just that my cousins give me heck about getting married....Saying where are your morals....yet it seems to me that they have no morals either, because they are all married.

Nope, she doesn't drive a truck, but she likes riding in mine, she says that trucks are too big (Like a Bus) to drive, so she doesn't drive mine that much. I have a feeling she will drive it more this winter though.
She just got a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM GT with the V6 Ram Air, I am very impressed with that car....It moves really good for it, but guess what, my truck still out accelerates it when I am driving my truck, and she is in the car....Just had to drag race her once.
I also might have her convinced that I need a 4x4 and a Lightning....now just have to figure out how to aford all of the toys and get into a house.
